Alaide Morcavallo

At AstraZeneca, Dr Alaide Morcavallo provides scientific support to the DNA Damage Response and Epigenetics franchises and serves as Outsourcing Lead for the In Vivo Pharmacology team within Early Oncology Bioscience UK. She has built her career at the interface of oncology research and drug development, with expertise in paediatric brain tumours, translational science, and the development of novel in vivo models to advance therapeutic innovation. Before joining AstraZeneca, she trained at Magna Graecia University in Italy, the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center in the USA, and the Institute of Cancer Research in the UK. Dr Morcavallo holds a PhD in Molecular Oncology and a mini-MBA.
