Claudio Murgia is Unit Head, Target & Disease Biology, Discovery Oncology, at Roche Pharma Research and Early Development. He studied veterinary medicine at the University of Sassari and received his PhD in Molecular Pathology from the University of London. Following research appointments at UCL and the University of Glasgow, where his work was supported by Wellcome Trust fellowships, he joined Roche, where he previously led Precision Cancer Modeling & In Vivo Pharmacology. His work focuses on translating complex biology into actionable therapeutic hypotheses and decision-enabling data.
