Kuan-Chuan (Eric) Pao
Principal Scientist, Co-Founder Outrun Therapeutics
Dr. Kuan-Chuan Pao is Scientific Co-Founder and Principal Scientist at Outrun Therapeutics, Dundee, where he has grown a PhD discovery into a multi-programme, all first-in-class oncology company spanning head and neck, triple-negative breast and ovarian cancer. He led the lead head-and-neck programme through PK/PD, in vivo efficacy in patient-derived models, and acquired-resistance studies to a development-candidate decision, working with clinical KOLs on indication selection, biomarker strategy and go/no-go criteria. Previously, as Medical Science Liaison for Roche’s Foundation Medicine companion diagnostic, he translated genomic-profiling reports into treatment decisions with oncologists.
